Having printed some FDM miniatures before here: Miniatures: FDM Printed, Vintage Styled, I was worried that the blocky nature of the knight sculpt might have been hiding deficiencies in the FDM printing process, so though I would go quite to the other end of the scale:

This is an Elven Archer, and I think it has come out rather well. As with the Knight the detail isn’t perfectly crisp, but it’s just about the perfect amount of detail to be painted without losing your mind.

I don’t know that I’d want to print an army of these, but for skirmish and roleplay usage it seems a really good bet for producing figures cleanly and quickly.

I notice there are a few small areas which show layering in theese photos, but as they are triple real-size and this is basically invisible in the flesh, I’m quite satisfied.
I also realise my basing leaves something to be desired 😉
